Excel Lessons

Free access for your class

Your students get the whole course for one term, at no cost, and we ask for nothing back.

  • All 103 lessons, in 18 modules
  • One term, to a date we agree
  • Every student in the class
  • Nothing to pay, now or after

Ali reads it. Put "A class" in the subject.

How it works

  1. 1. You write

Tell us what the class is, how many students, and when the term ends.

  2. 2. They sign up

Each student makes their own account and sends you the username. We never ask for their names or their email addresses.

  3. 3. We turn it on

Send us the usernames and full access is on in the same week, until the date we agreed.

Include your name and a link to your page on your institution's website. That is how we check you teach there, and it saves a long exchange.

Before you write

We cannot work with individual students. If you are a student, ask your teacher to write to us. In the meantime, the first lesson needs no account.

Questions

Do my students pay when the term ends?
No. Nothing is charged on its own. Access stops, and their score and progress stay on their account.
Do they need Excel installed?
No. The sheet runs in the browser. It does need a keyboard, so a computer rather than a phone.
How many students can I bring?
A class. If you teach several, say so in the email and we will work it out.
Is it accessible?
Partly, and here is the honest answer. Every page can be worked from the keyboard, every page has a skip link, and colour never carries a meaning on its own. We have not done a full WCAG 2.1 AA audit and we do not claim to meet it. If a student needs something specific, write and ask before the term starts.

Look at it first

Do the first lesson yourself before you write. It needs no account, and it is the fastest way to see whether this suits your class.
